Two Clearwater Bank Robberies in a Month: Suspect Arrested

A suspect has been arrested in connection with two bank robberies that occurred in Clearwater, Florida, within a month of each other. The first robbery took place on March 15, 2023, at a bank located at 123 Main Street. The second robbery occurred on April 15, 2023, at another bank located at 456 Oak Avenue.

In both incidents, the suspect entered the bank, demanded cash from the tellers, and escaped on foot. The total amount stolen from both robberies is estimated to be $20,000. No injuries were reported in either incident. The suspect was apprehended by authorities following an investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice.
