Burglary and Theft in New Canaan

On the night of October 24, 2023, a burglary occurred at a residence on Locust Avenue in New Canaan, Connecticut. The suspect entered the home through an unlocked window and stole jewelry and cash valued at approximately $100,000. The suspect was able to escape the scene before police arrived.

Police have charged a suspect in connection with the burglary. The suspect, who is also believed to be involved in a series of thefts in Greenwich totaling $1 million, was apprehended after a thorough investigation. The suspect was identified as a 35-year-old male from Connecticut.
